In gratitude to God congregational members serve the communities they work and live in doing good works as they involve themselves in various community organizations and in their work places.

Redeemer is noted for many events in the community including the Annual Turkey Supper, Outdoor Live Nativity, The Easter Story and Vacation Bible School. Hosting these and other events provides members with an opportunity to serve together.

Through the Lutheran Women's Missionary League members are involved in a number of service projects which support local community initiatives as well as national and international projects.

Members are also invited to participate and support various mission and aid projects throughout the world through its various partnerships.

Turkey Supper

Each Fall, usually in November, the Congregation hosts a community turkey supper.

Outdoor Live Nativity

For more than 25 years, Redeemer has hosted a live outdoor nativity, complete with animals, angels, wise men and, of course, the Holy family. The program is about 25 minutes long, and you are welcome to join the members of the community in the gym after the event for hot chocolate, apple cider, and goodies. This event has become a family Christmas time tradition for many in the community!

December 21, 22, 23 at 7:30 p.m. (on the front grounds of the church property)

Easter Drama

Every Palm Sunday Weekend (March or April) the congregation hosts the Easter Drama. You are invited to hear about Jesus and His love for you and witness the amazing story of His death and resurrection as told by eye witnesses.

Join the cast and crew which consists over 50 members in this truly breath- taking hour long event. Performance times are Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

Mission possABLE : Supper

In the spring the congregation hosts an evening of fine dining, entertainment and a special guest speaker all in support of missions. In its first two years this event has generated over $5,000 to support mission projects.

Vacation Bible School

One of the longest running and favorite ministry programs of the congregation has been the summer Vacation Bible School. For 2007 this program is on hiatus.

However, look here for a new summer program called "Sundaes in the Park." Featuring puppet dramas and of course Sundaes served up with a smile!
